Paper/Poster Presentation Guidelines

Instructions for paper/poster presentation 

  1. The first author, as mentioned in the abstract, should be present for the paper/poster.
  2. The presenting Author in the abstract will bear ultimate responsibility to ensure that guidelines are followed.
  3. The residents should have an approval letter from the H.O.D presenting any paper/eposter in the Conference.

Paper presentation               

  1. The duration of the paper presentation will be
    (a) award paper:6+2min.
    (b) free paper: 6+2 min. The presentation should be in pptx format only.
  1. Please check the Final Scientific Program for definitive information. Please follow what is written in the final published scientific program and prepare accordingly.
  2. The authors should respect the allotted time; the slides display will black out / screen sharing will be stopped after the time is over.
  3. The Presenting author mentioned in the abstract only will be allowed to present and given a certificate.
  4. Presenters exceeding the allotted time will not be considered for the award.
  5. PowerPoint presentation: Light background with black/blue fonts (font size: not less than 26), Times New Roman & justified. Also mark references on the same slide as they appear in the presentation. Please do not overstuff the slides.

E-poster presentation

(There will be no physical posters; only E-Posters will be allowed.)
  1. The duration of the E-poster presentation will be 3+2 minutes (5 slides excluding references and title). However, please check the Final Scientific Program for definitive information. Please follow what is written in the final published scientific program and prepare accordingly.
  2. The authors should respect the allotted time; the slides display will black out / screen sharing will be stopped after the time is over.
  3. The Presenting author mentioned in the abstract only will be allowed to present and given certificate.
  4. PowerPoint presentation: Light background with black/blue fonts (font size: not less than 26), Times New Roman & justified. Also mark references on the same slide as they appear in the presentation. Please do not overstuff the slides.

General Instructions 

  • Bring one copy of your presentation to the conference on a USB media storage This copy is to be used as a backup by you and the conference organizers if required. As an additional backup measure, consider saving an extra copy of your presentation on your web accessible local server or email the file to yourself if the file size is small enough.
  • Conference organizers will load all presentations on conference computers. Presenters will NOT be allowed to use their laptop computers. Apple computers will NOT be available.
  • All presenters will be allowed to check their presentations in Preview room on-site, before their presentation time. You are encouraged to review your presentation at least 24 hours/ a session before your scheduled presentation, especially if it has any special or technically complex elements.
  • Remember your presentation is limited to the given time. You will not be able to extend your time if you have technical problems during your talk.
  • Please check whether the videos are working or not. copy complete file of the video on the conference laptop. Organisers will not be responsible for any technical glitch leading to video failure.
  • Decision regarding awards by the judges and the scientific committee will be final.
